"You always make the same mistake, Pearl... What should I do with you, hmm?" he muttered, closing the distance and brushing his lips against her ear, sending shivers down her spine. "You're invading my personal space again, Saksham," she stated, her voice surprisingly steady, a desperate attempt to appear strong, a woman who'd outgrown the naive, innocent girl she once was. But deep down, the same vulnerability lingered, a fact they both knew too well. "Personal space... interesting," he chuckled darkly. "But you seem to forget, Pearl, there's no such thing as space between us. Because you were always mine to begin with." With that, he claimed her lips in a fervent, demanding kiss, a hunger that spoke of years of suppressed desire. "Mine to love, mine to possess, Pearl," he murmured against her, his words a toxic mix of affection and control. Shock and anger surged through her, and she pushed him away with surprising force, her hand striking his face in a resounding slap. The corridor, once silent, now echoed with the sharp sound, a testament to her defiance. "Never," she vowed, her voice trembling, and then she turned and fled, disappearing into the shadows. Saksham watched her retreating figure, a slow smirk spreading across his face, a cold glint in his eyes. He wasn't deterred by her resistance. In fact, it only fueled the flames of his obsession. 'Oh, Pearl, you just don't get it, do you' he thought, his mind racing with possibilities. Falak Kashyap, his "Pearl," was a fire herself, but her flame paled in comparison to the raging Ablaze that was Saksham Singhal. He was a force of nature, a royal who always obtained his heart's desire. And Falak was his ultimate dream, his only true obsession.
