It's been exactly one year since Shido and Kurumi had their date at the Tanabata Festival (The star festival) and she's returned to see Shido once again. How will their day turn out? Will they be faced with any problems? Will the twin tailed beauty be forgotten along with their date one year ago?

Kurumi Tokisaki AKA Nightmare has just returned to high school, the same high school as her love, Shido Itsuka. Will she become more placid for him or continue her dangerous living? Can she ever be saved by the spirit sealer? Will the other crushing on Shido stand in-between the face of love?

One shot about Shido and Kurumi. Shido saved all the girls but one. After dating all his girls, he thinks about the one he didn't save or maybe couldn't save. This is my second fan fiction I've ever made. So I might be rather clumsy at this. Also English isn't my native language, so don't be too hard on me. I do appreciate some constructive feedback. I liked the idea of a Shido and Kurumi pairing and couldn't find a lot of stories about them, so I thought to give it a shot. There could be some spoilers ahead, so you better go watch the show first, but I believe you first saw the show and then went looking for a continuation. Like I did.

Shido Itsuka is almost considered legendary among a certain group. The man who can seal a spirit, any spirit with nothing more than a mere kiss. But with all these praising tails, I bet you've never heard of the one that got away. Literally, the spirit that Shido promised, and failed to save. Kurumi Tokisaki is the seemingly demonic spirit that escaped from Shido more than once. But what if she's back, after Shido's failure has haunted him, maybe Kurumi has come back. Maybe this time...maybe Shido can save her.
