Thirteen year old Erin lives with her mom in Sacramento California. She has always wanted to fly... Her life has been turned upside-down in the past year. Her dad is dead. Died from the war. He died when she was four. Now she is in seventh grade. Her mom has just found a new neighborhood and says that moving is done...this is their place to stay.
