Dive into the saga of Maximus, a valiant seeker of adventure in the age-old realm of Eternium. Here, enchantments run wild, beckoning him on a quest that dances with destiny. Yet, whispers of anachronism haunt his steps, suggesting that this world of sword and sorcery is but a shadow of a more complex reality. As Maximus confronts the arcane and the unknown, he will stumble upon the cusp of two eras-a collision of medieval myth and a future unfathomable. A revelation awaits that will challenge the very essence of time and existence. Will Maximus embrace the odyssey that spans beyond the stars, or will the ancient rhythms of Eternium hold him captive in a symphony of simulated echoes?

[Completed - undergoing final edits. Word count - 92K.] Five years after an enigmatic, parasitic alien force brought human civilization to its knees, the remnants of our species cling to existence in the cracks and crevices of a ravaged planet. Among them is Alec Sumner, a man haunted by the ghosts of a world lost and burdened by a fate that could tip the scales of humanity's fate, a secret nobody can know... As Alec navigates the treacherous terrain of this new regime, he grapples not only with the alien threat but also with the darkness that lurks within the hearts of survivors pushed to their limits. Each day brings new challenges, and each choice carries the weight of unforeseen consequences as the line between ally and enemy blurs in the face of desperation. "Ashes of the Earth" is a gripping exploration of resilience in the face of overwhelming odds. It delves into the depths of human nature, questioning what truly defines us when everything we once knew has been stripped away. As Alec's journey unfolds, readers will find themselves on the edge of their seats, pondering the price of survival and how far you would go to protect the ones you love... Even if it meant sacrificing your own humanity.

Captain Addison is proud not to be a cog in the Weyland Yutani machine for her piece of the pie - an independent operator of the "Rust Raptor," a salvage ship and crew that traverses the galaxy picking up after wrecks, disasters, and failed colony attempts. But, as the richest corporation in the universe, sometimes you have to play ball with them. While on a routine run contracted out by Weyland, Addison and her crew intercept an unusual SoS. Contractually obligated to investigate, Captain Gray touches down on an unknown moon, LV-2032. Unbeknownst to Gray and her crew, LV-2032 is home to the Obsidian Sector Laboratory "Tartarus Deep," a bio-weapons division of the Weyland Yutani Corporation. Suddenly, they find themselves held prisoner for an innocent mistake and keeping to regulations. Kept under the watchful eye of the Complex Administrator, Driver - a synth - Addison is isolated from her friends and crew at an increasing rate. As her crew members disappear, she begins to hear screams in the night. In a race against time with a sadistic synthetic, a rogue AI with unknown intentions, and strange, bioluminescent, serpentine creatures that stalk the jungles outside the complex, Addison must rescue her crew, destroy the facility, and secure the future of the human race. For the Slates, demon slaying is the family business. And eighteen-year-old Perrin has fully embraced her chosen profession. But when her sister, fifteen-year-old Ace, declares she's ready to join the cause, Perrin has her reservations. First of all, the case she's picked involves not one, but three demonic foes. A tricky proposition for any new slayer. Second, something eerily familiar lurks at the heart of the infested town. A red-eyed presence that may or may not be the demon who murdered their brother a decade ago. Third, Ace refuses to listen. To reason, to orders, to sense. And in this line of work, one false move can get you killed. Along with their exasperated father and an overeager grocery store clerk, Perrin and Ace set out to raise a little hell and bag a trio of baddies. But demons aren't the only ones to fear. A secret society has discovered their connection to an ancient bet. One involving their very souls. And as enemies close in on all sides, the Slates will need to trust each other and their training to stay one step ahead of the coming storm. Set against the backdrop of 2010 Middle America, Slate Gray is a nostalgic tale of demons, driving and destiny. Will Perrin sacrifice herself to protect her sister? Will Ace make a deal with the devil to bring their brother back? Only time will tell. In an oceanic realm littered with traces of Magick, Crescent Isle had always been the odd one out. For aeons on end, it had been sheltered from the remainder of the world, seemingly as though an enormous invisible dome had been set in place around its waters to ward off dangers, paving the way for a prosperous golden age. However, darkness finally rises to the forefront across the Thirteenth Sea. Pirates, eyes glued onto the island's vast wealth and riches, invade the capital city, Silvermoon Wharf. Crescent Isle's defences hold through arduous tribulations but at a significant cost; with a timeless relic tarnished, a great evil is one step closer to emerging. In the calamity's wake, Cynthia Pryce meets a mysterious albeit familiar old man with but a single request for her to join his longspun journey across the sea to restore the distorted balance between light and darkness. Intrigued by the offer, the girl breaks free of her roots. Suddenly exposed to the vast entirety of the Thirteenth Sea, Cynthia steers down a rocky path of a new reality as she comes to terms with the horrifying state of global unrest. ------------------------------------------ Arc I - Origins - Chapters 1 - 20, Finished Transition I - Chapters 21 - 29, Finished Arc 2 - Dawn of Magick - Ongoing Notice: Temporary AI cover - official cover still pending.
