Word Count: 8950 Four months after the devastating events of the invasion of New York, Loki returns to Midgard stating that he was sent to repent for his crimes by helping fight the Avengers' wars. They are sceptical at first, but eventually agree to take him in for as long as Asgard deems it necessary. However, they soon start to realise that something seems off about their new teammate. Why is he suddenly so docile and quiet? Stuff gets uncovered and things go south like they always do when there's a chance for them to. It appears Loki isn't and was never the man they made him out to be. But can the God of Lies be believed? This is probably one of my favourite stories so far. Growing up, Odin would always find an excuse to call Loki a failure. Frigga wasn't okay with this by any means, but she didn't give it too much thought. Until one day, Odin takes it too far. When Loki got back from destroying New York, Odin sentanced him to a severe and overly-harsh punishment. Frigga thought this was completely wrong and it thoroughly bothered her. It ruined her and Odin's relationship. She did everything she could to save Loki. Until one day, she gets the opportunity to. She busts him out and has Heimdal teleport him to Earth, where he will be with his brother, Thor. But, Thor is living with the avengers, and it seems Loki will be too. But, they are all greatly shocked at how much Loki has changed. He was now fearful and quiet all the time. But most of the avengers try their best to help him through these difficult times.

What happens when Loki is sent to Earth after a security failure in Asgard? Why is Loki so docile and quite? Clint and Tony want to get to the bottom of this. And what they find does not make them happy. Truths revealed. Lies uncovered. Read as Loki finally gets accepted and finds a family with those who were once his bitter enemies.
