He was granted power unlike any other, yet he is chained by their control. The server will be torn apart, distrust and chaos between Hermits. All because of him.

Grian needs to hunt down a monster in the forest, a creature of unexplainable powers that he has been instructed to capture. But instead of a ferocious beast, he meets Mumbo, a scared vampire that has no control over his powers or his bloodlust. It's Grian's heart against his head, love against logic. Mumbo doesn't seem like the bloodthirsty creature that all the stories describe him as, but can Grian really trust him?

Mumbo Jumbo was a vampire. He lived on Hermitcraft as one of the Hermits, and kept this secret locked behind closed doors. He could keep himself under control, and no one on the server was the wiser. But when he suddenly begins to slip, his instincts taking more control of him, he has to figure out how to keep his secret- and his friends- safe. No matter what. -- Mumbo was a vampire. This was a fact that he had to live with. However, Mumbo never did anything to hurt any of his friends. Sure, he had always had urges, to say the least. It was just a part of his nature, his instinct. But Mumbo could control himself. He wasn't an impulsive person, he could keep himself collected. Mumbo knew how to control himself. Hello, my little sparks! As of 2023, this book will no longer be updated at all. Majority of its content will be moved to MCYT Oneshots and published there instead. I'm shocked and thankful by all the support this book has gotten, and I'm sorry to anyone who is upset by this. But I've just lost motivation to continue writing this book. I can't force myself to focus on it like I used to be able to and I feel like I would do better to just relax about it and not have to worry about yet another book.
