Poems are made to convey such long and dramatic sentence, without being long. Sometimes it's used to exaggerate such feelings, to create an interesting setting. "So...how did it go?" is just another book of poetry, made by a mediocre poet, who talks about a teen's life. Struggle, loneliness, love, all the things a teenager could feel. If it's not relatable enough, perhaps the author isn't living her teenage life the way it is. So why not give this book a try?
