Eventually, the archangels decide to take matters into their own hands when even after the not-apocalypse, the two stuck together instead of fighting for Heaven or Hell. Gabriel and Michael confront Aziraphale with a deal and if he is able to uphold his end, Heaven and Hell will leave Aziraphale and Crowley alone for the rest of eternity, but if he fails? Well, it might be the last time he sees Crowley. I forgive you. Aziraphale watched as Crowley walked out the door. He'd seen the demon walk out of the bookshop a million times, always knowing that he'd walk right back in the same door tomorrow. This time, the door closed with a stifling sense of irrevocability. This time, Crowley wasn't just walking out of his bookshop. This time, Crowley was walking out of his life. I forgive you. Foolish. Stupid. Cruel. Those hadn't been the words sitting at the tip of his tongue. Far from it. But it didn't matter. Crowley finally did it. He confessed his feelings the best he could to the only person that mattered to him in this whole universe... And what was he left with? His lover abandoning him, like everyone else has in Crowley's life. You'd think that over the thousands of years, these two beings have been together their connection was stronger. Aziraphale obviously didn't think so, well that's what Crowley thought at least but he didn't know the mystery he was about to uncover. Nobody did... This story is about an angel and demon you are most likely familiar with by now, however, throughout the story you will find out more and more about these mysterious beings and how they really feel deep inside. (This is my first Good Omens fic and I hope y'all like it :) I'll try my best to mend all our broken hearts from that season 2 finale) *The story could be mature if I continue it anymore, but that all depends on how many people read it.
