What if, when Hermione saw Ron and Lavender kissing, and she ran away crying, Harry was not the one comforting her. No, what if it was the Slytherin Bad Boy, Draco Malfoy? They both made a deal to forget about that, but what happens when Draco sees Hermione as a new way to hurt Harry and Ron? What if he sees that, if he takes her away from them, he'll break the Golden Trio for good? She will be hurt, but who cares, right? Because, he will get what he wants. After the war Hogwarts was rebuilt and reopened. Among the many students returning to school are Hermione and Draco who are a few of those finishing their 7th year. Though things won't be as crazy as they are used to, one event imperticular holds promise.

Hogwarts has reopened after six months of rebuilding. All of the previous seventh years have been invited to return to school to redo the year that they missed whilst fighting for the successful defeat of the Dark Lord. Most people are feeling elation, happiness, and relief at the newfound freedom in the wizarding community, but not Hermione Granger. The war changed most people for the better, like Draco Malfoy, who is now seeking redemption for his actions. Hermione is now a broken mess and seems to have lost all positive emotion, after the torment of the war and not being able to replace her parents memories, she needs help.
