When Erik invites Charles for one of their traditional sleepovers he doesn't expect it'll turn out that way. Instead of taking the upper bunk bed as usual, Charles decides to curl up in Erik's bed with Erik to keep them warm... P.S. This is written by me and a friend on AO3 :) So the smutty parts are thanks to them :D

Charles Xavier is a 31-year old respected scientist who leads a very reclusive life. He hardly ever meets with people and hides in his secluded mansion where he conducts his experiments. That is mostly due to him being a telepath and tired of his telepathy getting in the way of having healthy relationships with other people. When he finally decides he needs a companion in his solitude - one that would not have a mind to read and thoughts to hear - Charles decides the best option in his situation is to get himself one of those last models David-8 androids. He names his new android 'Erik' and expects him to be like Charles' new supercomputer. Instead Charles' relationship with the android goes beyond the usual human/machine dynamics and Charles finds himself surprised and confused by his feelings for Erik. Erik seems to reciprocate but with no mind to read and no thoughts to hear Charles can hardly be convinced the android's affection for him is not merely Erik being programmed this way.

Oswald Cobblepot only wants to graduate high school and move on with his life. His sole goal is to remain invisible so he doesn't get bullied. However, his life turns upside down when he meets the friendly yet socially inept Edward Nygma. What he doesn't know is that Ed has dark secrets of his own. Even though Oswald and Ed started off on the wrong foot, the two eventually become best of friends and soon Oswald realizes he's fallen in love with Ed. However, running towards his one true love doesn't go as smoothly as it should. Life seems to have other plans for the two young men. ~~~ "Edward." "How do you mean?" "Well... socializing in the showers isn't really the best way to--" Oswald huffed, giving up. "Whatever. It's your funeral."

Erik Lehnsherr, a strongly opinionated 14-year old mutant boy, is sick and tired of people ignoring his political ideas. He wants to be big so that he'd actually make a difference! When he meets a mutant powerful enough to grant him his wish Erik instantly takes his chance to start a new life as a kid in a grown up's body and do what he always dreamed of. However, things don't always go as planned, especially after he meets Charles Xavier, a telepath on suppressants whose life is about to be completely transformed. Based on Big (1988)

Charles spent his entire life on Genosha island -- a secluded piece of land, hidden away from the rest of the world, isolated for the last 200 years. He's devoted himself to the priesthood of the Genosha religion and is expected to take his Divine Vows soon. However when the Outsider Erik Lehnsherr crashes on the shores of the islands Charles' whole life is turned upside down as he begins to question the Truths he'd been told by Divine Master Shaw and the rest of his people. Perhaps Charles and Erik were destined to meet to rid the islanders of great evil.

The Light Between Oceans AU After fighting in the war Erik Lehnsherr accepts the position of a lighthouse keeper at Magneto Rock -- a lonely island near Genosha. He is content with the idea of living in isolation, however, at one point it is expected of him to settle down. The most obvious choice for a wife would be Magda Gurzsky, a young woman in Genosha who already is quite fond of Erik since day one. What make Erik's decision more difficult are his conflicting feelings for his new friend Charles Xavier. In the 1920's Erik does not feel free to follow his own heart, instead surrendering to other people's expectations and letting that control his life. This leads to impossible dilemmas, suffering, and lots of suppressed feelings and desires. --- Do not expect an abundance of historical accuracy here. My priority was the story itself, the characters, and their feelings and emotions. I've changed Australia to Genosha, and Janus Rock to Magneto Rock. Erik represents Thomas Sherbourne's character ((naturally)), Magda represents Tom's wife, and Charles is a whole new delightful addition to the story :D Expect a slow burn, mostly due to the time period not allowing gay relationships, and also because of Erik's own indecisiveness and struggles to suppress his feelings for Charles.
