Team Sky has slowly been expanding over the different regions, and leader Mikey has slowly been eradicating other teams there, threatening to get in the way of his mission to expand and protect the skies. Through his travels, he has slowly gathered a team of trusted admins and grunts in the other regions to take care of those regions' branches while he travels. And things are looking up for Team Sky until a series of incidents occurs. The air is no longer clear in the sky, bird pokémon are falling ill, and the sky's guardian Rayquaza has retreated farther into the atmosphere, far from where Team Sky can summon their guardian.
