All animals turn to Fuli to guidance but she can barely cope with the death of her friend as she desperately tries to find a way to save Kion which can only be found in her memories. The pair must take on the challenge of leading the kingdom without Rani for neither of them can do it alone. They must overcome any challenge they are faced with as well as learn to work together as a king and queen should. Despite the many challenges, Kion and Fuli try to hide any unwanted feeling towards the other as well as their friends as they soon discover the cause of Rani's death is more than what meets the eye.

Kion and his friends have taken the next stage of their lives and have started having kids of their own. Kion and Fuli are now married and have 2 cubs called Siku and Nyota. When the cubs are born, Kion and Fuli discover that their cubs will start a new guard to protect the Pridelands and to keep the peace but only one is destined to lead. The new guard will come face to face with challenges that will change their lives and maybe even the fate of the Pridelands. Nyota tries to not come between two brothers who have fallen in love with her and Siku is caught in a forbidden relationship with an Outlander but not just any Outlander. Will the new guard overcome their challenges and foes or will the sun set before their adventure has even begun? Read to find out... This is book 10 in my TLG series.
