COMPLETED ON SCROLLSTACK In the wake of her return to her home country, Sara Rajawat wanted only two things: to help her brother achieve his revenge, and get started on her own. In the span of twenty years, she had very meticulously planned out the five cold blooded murders of the five monsters who had stolen the light of the day from her sister's eyes. It's time, for once, she sleeps peacefully now. But then enters Yuvraaj Singh Chauhan, her ex husband, with a set of his own questions, still wearing their wedding ring. In the six months they were married, he had never glanced at her, let alone speak to her. Except for when they fought, with weightless things and hateful words hurled at each other so loud even the palace walls had shuddered. Their marriage was a disaster, and the only sane decision was to walk out of it. So what makes him think she owes him any explanation? But if she knows one thing about her ex-husband apart from being an uptight and the most unempathetic person to ever walk on the face of the earth, then that he's stubbornly in hate with her. She knows nothing about where his hatred stems from, neither does she care. She never did. He is an insignificant fragment of her past, and she wants him to stay as such. But maybe that's exactly what's keeping him hooked to her. Because Yuvraaj Singh Chauhan, for anyone, is unforgettable.

Four separate souls -- Raman, Ishita, Ruhi, and Adi -- in four separate cities; but somehow CONNECTED. How? Read to find out.... Ishita Iyer has been dreaming of a life as a dentist, wife, and mother, but destiny plays a cruel joke on her, as her dreams are shattered by her fiancé Subbu right before their engagement. She moves to Delhi with her family, searching for the remedy of her broken heart, only to find happiness in the most unexpected place. Raman Bhalla was a blessed son, brother, husband, and father, only to have his world destroyed by his wife Shagun after five long years of marriage. Cursed with a scorched soul and burned by the weakness called love, he flees from Delhi, only to find peace and joy in the very place he left behind. Disclaimer: This is my retelling of the iconic show "Yeh Hai Mohabbatein." I am a huge fan of the initial 1.5-2 years which were telecast at 11 pm. Those initial days of YHM are the inspiration for my story. I attempt to close loopholes and expand on relationships and character conflicts that were insufficiently addressed on the show (in my opinion). The characters here are all the same as in the original show. The only difference is that Simi's husband and Ananya's father is a guy named Pulkit. Both Simi and Pulkit are good people and happily married. Param is not a character in this story. If you are unfamiliar with the original characters, please refer to the family trees added with the trailer. Although the story and premise is different, I will be recreating certain tracks that could have gone better in my opinion (Ishita's infertility; custody trial of both Ruhi and Adi; Mani's entry and Raman's jealousy; Ishita's insecurities regarding Shagun; IshRa pregnancy track and Pihu's birth). Please feel free to leave comments or feedback, if you like. I hope you enjoy reading! ❤️😊 [Note: English Translations have been added in italics.]
