Stella Harding was born to chase storms. As the daughter of legendary storm chasers Jo and Bill Harding, she inherited her father's rare gift-a human barometer, able to sense changes in the atmosphere long before a storm arrives. After a devastating tornado takes the lives of three of her closest friends, Stella walks away from the only life she's ever known and moves to Italy, hoping to leave the memories behind. But no matter how far she runs, the storms-and the pain-follow her. Five years later, Stella is called back into the field, where she comes face-to-face with Tyler Owens, the fearless and famous tornado wrangler who lives for the thrill of the chase. As powerful storms sweep across the plains, Stella must confront her past, trust her instincts, and decide if she's ready to risk her heart again. Because sometimes the most dangerous storms aren't the ones on the radar-they're the ones waiting inside us.

Two attendings. One night shift. A slow burn that neither of them saw coming, and both of them are going to resist for as long as humanly possible. Dr Lily Parnell is new to Pittsburgh Trauma Medical Centre. Dr Jack Abbott has been running the night shift for six years. They are co-attending. They are professionals. They are, by any reasonable measure, going to be absolutely fine. They are not going to be fine. It starts the way these things always do - small. A look held a beat too long. A conversation at the nurses' station at two in the morning that neither of them intended to have. The particular awareness of someone working besides you that has stopped being purely professional and hasn't yet become anything you're ready to name. Jack notices it first and says nothing, because Jack Abbott has spent years saying nothing about the things that matter most. Lily notices it second and deflects, because deflection is what she does when something gets close enough to be dangerous. They are exceptionally well matched in all the wrong ways. He is steady and guarded and carrying guilt about a grief he hasn't finished with. She is confident and capable and hiding something behind a composure so practised most people never think to look for the fault lines. Neither of them is looking for anything. Both of them are going to find it anyway, in the space between emergencies, in the quiet that the night shift occasionally produces, in the moments when the performance drops and the person underneath is just - there.

Dr. Grace Mercy has never struggled with focus. Not through early graduation, not in med school, not while training as a military officer. Discipline built her. Routine defined her. There was always a next step. Until now. Back in Philadelphia for her sister's first year of college, Grace is trying to relearn something she was never trained for-being a civilian. Normal life feels unfamiliar, too quiet, too unstructured. So when a position opens at a trauma center in Pittsburgh, she takes it. Not to run, but to adjust. To find a rhythm that comes with orders. She expects long hours, chaos, and control. What she doesn't expect... is someone who understands her without explanation. Someone just as sharp, maybe just as guarded-and somehow, the one thing that pulls her off balance. For the first time, Dr. Grace Mercy isn't sure if losing focus is a weakness... or the start of something she never planned for... let's hope they welcome the new Attending with open arms.

The night shift was never meant to change anything. Just another hospital, another set of rules-another place to keep everything contained. Samantha Hayes doesn't have room for distractions, not with grief that hasn't settled and a life that refuses to slow down. And Jack Abbott isn't one to make space for anything personal. So nothing happens. Nothing crosses the line, nothing becomes what it shouldn't. But some things don't need permission to take shape. And by the time it's noticed- it's already there.
