Middle school was a blast, a dream even. Stan, Kyle, Kenny, and Cartman we're having so much fun in their little clique. Cartman and Kyle getting into fights - always ending in speeches from the redhead boy. Cartman making fun of Kenny for his financial situation, earning Cartman a kick in the crotch or a lingering pain in his arm. Stan, being Stan and going through heartbreaks with Wendy before they finally worked it out. The first year of Highschool was when everything changed. It wasn't like Junior High anymore, and Highschool surely wasn't like how they portrayed it in the movies. Though, Kyle wouldn't have minded getting swirly than hearing his Super Best friend talking bad about him behind his back.

And then, for who the hell knows why, the government sprung a soulmate system on them. A red string only you and your soulmate could see, connecting you to the other. And Craig wasn't connected to Tweek. Which was just about his worst nightmare. Kyle didn't give a shit who he was connected to, as long as it wasn't Eric Cartman. And then, well... Their paths crossed.

Craig never expected Tweek to break up with him. Hell he never even considered the possibility of them breaking up. But it happened and Tweek pulled the trigger that killed their relationship. Kyle didn't mean to confess. He was just so annoyed and fed up with Stan always being with Wendy. Stan rejecting him wasn't something he was ready for. Did he just ruin their friendship for good? After Kyle and Craig both experience a heartbreak they come up with the not so genius idea to use each other to make their desired ones jealous. Idk how tf this got 5k tbh- Kyles dating Stan and Craigs dating Tweek, or at least they were until after Kyle let Stan go after realizing Stan won't change for him no matter what he says. And Tweek lets Craig go due to them both knowing that what they're doing isn't for what they really feel. Craig and Kyle both find each other in situations at a certain time in their lives, leading them to build a friendship they never thought would happen. Both of them start to grow even bigger feelings than they wanted to, but it's not like theres something they can do about it besides ignoring them.
