Lei, granddaughter of the late Azula, has been trained as a firebender since she was a little girl and was taught by her great uncle, Lord Zuko. 70 years after the end if the 100 year war, we now follow Korra, the next Avatar after Aang, who is from the Southern Water Tribe.
