Macaque screamed, his eyes were clear with rage and he snarled deeply at his formal enemy and ex lover, Sun Wukong. Wukong's nose scrunched up and he inhaled deeply as he glared at Macaque. "I'm glad you didn't." ---------------------------------------------------- One late night, MK accidentally stumbles into Macaque's lair. What he found was one of the last things he would've expected. Letters. Letters from the past. Most were from Macaque to Sun Wukong, but they were never sent. Only a few were from the Monkey King. But before MK could get a better look, Macaque just so happened to show up. Macaque starts having fantasies of Wukong and Wukong has no fucking idea. But of course Macaques knows Wukong will never like him back and every time he see's Wukong he'll try and avoid him. Why? Because he doesn't want to get rejected knowing Wukongs WAY out of his league? Kinda but no. Because he gets flustered and embarrassed whenever he sees Wukong do something nice? Also yes but not the main reason. Because he feels like Wukong knows he has fantasies about him? Maybe. Because he gets horny even seeing or hearing Wukongs name sometimes? Who knows. But no, none of those add up to the real reason why. The REAL reason why is Macaques scared of telling Wukong he loves him and wants to spend his whole life with him. He fears that the great sage with make fun of him for it and use it against him knowing that Macaque had a soft spot for him. He knows what happened in the past when he loved Wukong, he died. He was betrayed and left for dead by his dear lover. Wukong would never like Macaque and that just proved it. He didn't want to repeat the past, he didn't want to look like a loving, helpless idoit. He never wanted to fall in love with Wukong again but everything about that peach eating idoit made Macaques cheeks flush and his stomach swist. He hated himself for liking such a person but in the end there was nothing he could do about it. No matter how hard he tryed, He was still deeply head over heels in love with Wukong But little did Macaque know that this affected Wukong badly, Really Really Bad. Today they were meditating to restore their energy after an intense training session while the rest of the gang hang out on Flower Fruit Mountain. Until a demon decided to attack the mountain and MK and Mei forcefully woke Macaque and Monkey King from their meditation in desperation...
