Things have officially gone to shit...AGAIN. In the aftermath of Azula's attack in Ba Sing Se, (Y/n) has to cope with Sokka and Aang being incapacitated, and worst of all, she wonders if things can ever go back the way they were. She learns that sometimes, the universe may deal shitty hands at her, but sometimes... the universe looks out for her, too, through Sokka, Aang, Toph, and Katara. Or, (Y/n) is the one who has shocking revelations, Sokka is lovesick, Aang doubles down on his scheming, and this time he has Toph and Katara to help.

The war broke out after the Fire Nation attacks. Only the Avatar, master of all four elements can stop them. Fearing for the Avatar, the Fire Nation decided to kill every Airbenders in every Air Nomads which will be where the next Avatar born after the death of Avatar Roku. A boy, named Aang leave the temple after he learnt that he was the new Avatar, therefore only he survived the attack. But what if... there's another survivor? And not just ANY survivor, but his twin little sister? How long will it take until they found each other. How did Y/N survived and how did she remain the same even after 100 years of disappearance? When the Gaang has an odd run in with Zuko, Sokka can't seem to part with the hot head teen. What is so interesting about Zuko, and had the Gaang misjudged him? This story takes place as the gAang is on there way up to the Northern Watertribe to learn water bending. This is very canon-divergent. Slowburn. A Zuko X Reader story. As always, I wrote this for myself but you can read it, too, if you'd like. Y/N was an air bender, she was tasked with watching over the avatar as a punishment for something that she had done; something that the air nomads frowned upon her for. When she discovered what had become of her people, she was furious- but not at the Fire Nation, she was furious at Aang, because Aang was supposed to protect them, and he didn't. But was it Aang that she was really angry at?

Y/N is a water bender who was born on board a fire navy ship holding Southern Water Tribe captives, she was left in a Fire Nation orphanage and was eventually adopted by Fire Nation nobles. She grew up around the royal family as her adoptive father was an important advisor to Fire Lord Ozai, she became good friends with Prince Zuko as she grew older, until he was banished. Until, she made a huge decision that would reunite them, but change her destiny...
