Czarodzieje z Wielkiej Brytanii rzadko nawiązywali kontakt z innymi krajami. Nie interesowało ich zbytnio, co działo się za ich granicami, ale to się miało zmienić. Kiedy Harry Potter będący symbolem zwycięstwa jasnej strony, nie zjawia się w Hogwarcie, rozpoczynają się poszukiwania. Ich rezultat może jednak zaskoczyć wiele osób i to nie na plus.
