But for now, you'll be following the story of everyone's favorite North American, Canada. After his father made some horrible mistakes while he was a child it puts a wedge in the family that only those two know about. But as he grows older the effects of The Asylum (a place of suffering for Countryhumans after death) take a toll on how he treats others. And after countries get revived from the Asylum by a mysterious cure the majority of the time they gain a physical feature such as wings, or maybe another animal characteristic. On rare cases, there can be magical abilities gained that outweigh any sort of supernatural physicality. But Canada wasn't too lucky, and just got a pair of large wings. To hide the past from other countries, Britain does everything he can to keep the knowledge of them away from everyone, even if it causes loads of pain on his son's body. In this story each countryhuman has a stone with their flag on it. It's one of the most precious things to them because of their stone get damaged or put in the wrong hands bad things can happen. If another country gets a hold of it, the countryhuman that the stone originally belonged to gets chainlocked. Meaning that the country who got their stone has complete control of them, and to show it physically a thick metal bracelet is placed around one of their wrists. ⚠️Also no warnings on ships, so be prepared for anything. Canada and Ukraine have never been more than friends. Kind of. Are they even friends? But one cold night on CountryHumans Island, they're walking on the sidewalk and hear faint crying coming from a manger, in a nativity scene, in front of a church. There's a baby inside. The mother has left it there and promised to come back by New Years when she is ready to care for him again. So they did the only reasonable thing they could, they took the baby. From here until new years the two learn how to parent the baby, both surprisingly are good parents, they learn how to deal with each other, and you know what, they probably fall in love! Because this is a romance story. But who knows? I hope you enjoy their adventures and trial and tribulations trying to make a good home for this baby, left in a manger.
