A book about a man who was at the top of the kingdom, but was then banished by the king, and needed to get away, so he travels the kingdom in secret and avoids any more contact with people than needs to be, but he has certain abilities that help him along the way this is my first book and I am writing it in real life with the goal of getting it published, feedback is wanted and needed, please

About a boy who gets a little too much confidence when he discovers a spell and releases a powerful elemental spirit and has to prove the confidence was well earned. This is my first third person story so sorry if it sounds too much like just a narrator in some school play.
