What does it feel like to be sold in an auction full of greedy humans that would do anything to satisfy their own needs?
Here belies, Ruth, a male vampire that has lived over 400 years, stuck in an auction that is being held by a bunch of 'mortals'. Where did he come from? Unknown. Why is he being auctioned? Unknown. What do these humans want from him actually? Unknown. He stayed in the cage, with the 'unknown' feeling of familiarity.
Alexander Everett, one of the auctioneers. Known for his status as the most influential mafia in the underworld. His methods of killing and torturing are basically inhumane. He has never been interested in such 'auctions'. He simply came because of his 'partner in crime', that wanted him to have fun in life, while being as crazy as Alexander himself.
He sees Ruth. Ruth sees him. Their gazes are locked with each other. Alexander's gaze shows dominance and power. Ruth just shows sheer coldness and indifference, without any care of the human world he's in. What secret could a vampire like him...hide?
"Such indifference... That's unique."
-Alexander Everett-
"And that wouldn't concern you."
-Ruth-
