One-shot. This story is right out of my dream. It was bugging me and I just had to write it down.

Patrick Kane, Jonathan Toews, and Andrew Shaw are all members of the Chicago Blackhawks. To Katie, the athletic caretaker, they are her boys. The four of them have been best friends since the day they meet Katie. However, they are all romantically getting involved with Katie, but her heart only belongs to one of them. But who is it and can she still convince him even when he thinks otherwise?

For Patrick, it all started December 27, 2006. It wasn’t love at first sight, per say, but he definitely felt something in the pit of his stomach. At the exact time it happened, he really had no idea what was going on. So, Patrick being Patrick, he shrugged it off as his nerves. (He was on the ice about to play against Team Canada in the world juniors). Looking back, he probably should have been able to figure out that it wasn’t just nerves seeing as it happened when he locked eyes with Jon. For Jon, it never really started. Or he didn’t think so, at least. AUTHOR NOTES: i have no idea when they actually met. just using this date as a reference. (:
