A wound... A debt, a secret. It's a story about faith, justice, family, grief, the courage it takes to tell the truth when silence would be easier, orphanhood-- tbh some of its parts are difficult ; and, beneath all of it is a belief I keep returning to while writing: You are not doomed to become what hurt you. That said- the story is written to be clean in language; there is no explicit sexual content and no excessive profanity. The difficult parts of the story come from its situations rather than explicit language. *take care of yourself while reading ; if a chapter becomes too heavy it's okay to step away and come back later.
