The Wandering Demigod [PJO] Greek myths tell of many ancient stories. Of ancient heroes and grand battles. Students of Greek culture hear stories of Theseus and the Minotaur, the Labors of Heracles, and how Perseus slew Medusa, and draw lessons and conclusions from them. Demigods live by these myths. Many modern events and people too live on in demigod history. One event which, in time, will earn itself a place among the great battles of history such as the Trojan War or Gettysburg is the Chicago Incident. One event, which forever changed human history. The names of Annabeth Chase, Jason Grace, Frank Zhang, and Clarisse La Rue, among others, will go down in history as the great martyrs of their time. And Percy Jackson will forever be known as their messiah. What will happen when the world finds out everything it believes to be true, isn't so?

It's so cold...I feel like I'm freezing up. Literally. I felt like everything inside was beginning to change...who I was, what I was, and just me. I opened my icy blue eyes. Everyone I knew, Annabeth, The Seven, the Gods, everyone except my mother, Paul, and Grover, betrayed me or wanted me dead. I'm a demigod on the run. And I'm losing myself to a part of me that I never knew existed. The morning dew on the leaves around me froze to crystallized droplets as I walked by. Just as I was admiring the beauty of it all, a shout came from behind me and I turned. A hunter was pointing my way and more people came. Twenty more hunters, and roughly forty demigods. I turned away from them and ran while taking out my sword. Riptide. It wasn't what it used to be. Before it had a blue green colored trident etched into a glowing bronze metal and a golden hilt. Now? The bronze glowed silver because of a thin layer of deadly ice. The trident became an icy blue, just as my eyes had changed and the hilt was now black and silver. Why? I'm changing. The world destroyed me. So I'm changing. To someone I'm not. I can't stop it. I can keep running before I freeze over entirely. Then I'll be unstoppable. = = = so im writing a second draft and i realized i screwed up the whole plot in this story because it wasnt meant to be cliche but it turned out to be so this is gonna be the first version and the second version im writing at an incredibly slow rate so yeah this version is not the best to say it nicely [lowercase and terrible grammar intended because I'm lazy]

Perseus is the youngest son of Zeus and Leto, the Lord of the Eclipse and Patron god of Heroes. During the first Titan War, he fought the Titan of Memory, Mnemosyne. She had erased the memory of him from all immortals and mortals alike, with the exemption of his siblings, Apollo and Artemis. He had faded, causing the Twin Archers immense grief. They couldn't tell the other gods because they wouldn't believe the two, but every year, Apollo and Artemis would put aside their differences and focus on their power, creating a Solar and Lunar Eclipse in honor of their brother; even if it drained them. They have been continuing this ritual, never failing to do their duty during that particular time of the year. But there came a time when they were creating an eclipse, (Modern Time) they were ambushed by Mnemosyne and various monsters. They were still weak from the ritual, so the hunters and the twins were captured. Right when they were about to be sent to Tartarus so they could not participate in the war, an eclipse formed and something they thought to be impossible happened; after all, anything is possible with the Greek gods, is it not? ******************* The whole story is about how Perseus will adapt to the changed time period and he will train both camps. The gods will slowly remember who he is, and Artemis will have him help the Hunt at times. But the second Titan war is not the only threat, for the second Giant War is approaching and Gaea seems to have created a Giant just for him. [ongoing; being edited]
