Avery's senior year is turned upside down when a kiss with her older brothers' best friend ignites a forbidden relationship tangled in danger, heartbreak, and family secrets that could destroy everything. *** "Aiden..." I shake my head, eyes fixed anywhere but the gorgeous man next to me. His hand grips my chin tightly, just enough to make me avert my eyes to his. "You know you want this as much as I fucking do. I want you to be mine. I want to be the one to hold you and kiss you the one you go to whenever you're happy or fucking sad. But let it be me, let me fucking show you that it should be me." He glares, jaw tensing. ...... ©hessaherophinelove

Bianca When I got flooded out of my basement apartment, my brother took me in. Now, my brother and his wife are running off to Spain for a second honeymoon and leaving me alone in their house with their four adorable children and Timo, the wonder-manny. Timo, the wonder-manny, is every bit as terrific as my sister-in-law Camille told me he was. He's kind, he's intelligent, and he's great with kids. The problem? Timo, the wonder-manny, wants nothing to do with me, and I can't really blame him. He couldn't be more mistaken in his first impression of me, but I'm too mortified to set him straight. Timo If you'd told me five years ago that I'd be a nanny to four kids under the age of six, I would never have believed it. I was a highflyer back then. Until I fell. But now my life's getting back on track. I'm a new man, and the new and improved me doesn't get involved with party girls. Unfortunately, my employers have gone off on their second honeymoon and left me to look after their four kids and one homeless party girl who threatens to wreck my resolution to avoid the kind of women who get drunk and ask strange men for their phone numbers. Unfortunately, I'm the strange man who's caught this party girl's eye, and there's no avoiding her as long as we're living under the same roof.

He left a mark I never asked for. Now he wants to finish the piece. Amina Westbrook didn't choose motherhood. But when her younger sister dropped a baby and disappeared, Amina stepped up, raised that little girl as her own, and never looked back. Seven years later, the past comes tatted, cocky, and fine as hell-standing in the grocery store with the same hypnotic eyes her daughter sees in the mirror. Santiago Vega. Zuri's father. The man who left before he ever knew she existed. Now he wants in. He wants time. Forgiveness. A chance to be a father. And every time he shows up with that deep voice and soft smirk, Amina hates how badly she wants to let him. Santiago isn't just showing up for Zuri-he's showing up for her. Fixing things she didn't ask him to fix. Dropping money in her hand like it's his right. Touching her like he already knows how she breaks. Amina's been holding everything together for so long, she doesn't know how to let go. Doesn't know how to want someone who actually stays. But Santiago stays. Through the attitude. The boundaries. The sparks that keep catching fire. And when he finally gets his hands on her? There's nothing soft about it. Now she's spiraling in his sheets, clashing with him in front of her family, and falling harder than she ever meant to. Because Santiago doesn't just want to play daddy. He wants the whole damn family. And this time, he's not leaving until he has them. Ink Don't Lie is a gritty, emotionally charged, standalone romance about second chances, found family, and the kind of love that refuses to walk away.
