(Book 1) During the battle of Manhatten an accident occurred. It caused Percy Jackson to travel back into the past. After nearly 20 years, Percy is back in New York after leaving the country for college. Now with two kids, he'd excited to return and for his kids to see America. However, his son makes friends with a boy from school. Carlos do Angelo. Upon meeting Carlos and his father when they first hang out, Percy is pulled back into this life that he so easily got away from. But he doesn't completely regret it.
