He had an endless hatred for Eggman now, the culprit for it all. He meets Shadow again after some years, and they both become friends, something unexpected for the two of them. The get closer until they find out the obvious... The Chapters take place in Sonic Boom. The Characters of Sonic the Hedgehog do not belong to me, they belong to Sega.

Sonic and the gang are back in High School and are going on a camping trip - mandatory to graduate from grade 12. Shadow and his friends Maria the hedgehog, Rouge the bat and Rock the unicorn are constantly butting heads with Sonic and his friends Knuckles the echidna, Amy the hedgehog and Tails the fox (who is now magically the same age as the others. Shhhh....). All the while Sonic and Shadow must hide their feelings from everyone around them - including each other. Shadow rescues Sonic after he is kidnapped by a crazy scientist who makes Robitnick look like a saint. However, after the rescue, Shadow and Sonic must hide in a cave for two days. How different life can be when the hero disappears without a trace, his friends, family and citizens mourn the loss of the azure hero.
