Book three lets gooooooooo Annabeth is trying to have a peaceful walk in central park with Percy when they were interrupted. First a monster, then an annoying goddess, who sends Annabeth to continue her quest without so much as a warning. Back in the wizarding world, things are getting intense. Voldemort is back in the open, the world is dark, and Annabeth's friends at Hogwarts are in their prime drama age. Lots to look forward to, right? Along with friend drama and classes and homework, Annabeth has to learn all that she can about Voldemort and his early life in order to understand the secrets he's been hiding from the world. And it may be the only way to defeat him.

(This all takes place in the Harry Potter universe/at Hogwarts if you didn't know) Daisy likes to keep to herself. She's not very outspoken, and she prefers plants over people. She's the one off to the side petting a random cat that she found and immediately adopted. If you didn't know her, you probably wouldn't realize she went to your school. Vera, on the other hand, is explosive. Not literally (usually not literally), but she's the kind of person you either absolutely love or passionately hate. There is no in between. That person completely ignoring the rules because she found something more fun to do? That's Vera. In all senses, these two would never be friends. But Vera has never been one to listen to sense, and to her, Daisy is magnetic. And while Daisy isn't sure what she's feeling and why, she isn't about to start avoiding a person who's done nothing wrong. It was out of their hands from there.

Annabeth was expecting a normal end to summer. She was expecting to end the day with Percy and wait for her father to pick her up. What she got instead was a quest shoved in her face. And not just any quest, no, Annabeth had to become fourteen again, go to a magical school in the past, and protect a boy named Harry Potter from a rising dark lord. Even worse, she had to go alone. Not only that, but Annabeth's quest is made even harder by some arbitrary school rivalry that pits Harry Potter and his friends against her. Because what's normal when you're a demigod? But this time, things are a little different. For one thing, there is now the threat of a wizarding mass murderer looming, and no one seems to believe that he's actually back. Even more, the Ministry of Magic is making out Annabeth to be some sort of mastermind who convinced Harry Potter and Dumbledore to lie about Voldemort's return. For another, the Ministry of Magic has placed one of their own inside Hogwarts as a teacher--- someone fully dedicated to the Ministry and hates half-breeds like Annabeth. Annabeth is supposed to be protecting Harry from Voldemort and other threats, but how can she do that when there's a shrunken pink toad watching her every move?
