This story is about Clarke Griffin, who has heterochromia, a rare birth defect that makes multi-colored eyes. She lived a very realistic life. Never cared much for horoscopes or things of that matter. She thought they were a load of bullshit. She looked at her life through the eyes of logic instead of dreams and old folklore tales and whatnot. Yes kind of boring, but according to Clarke, the best way as to not set yourself up for failure Her heterochromia has been with her all of her life. It doesn't define her, but she does love it. I mean who wouldn't love having two different colored eyes? Seeing the face on her homochromatic peers when they notice is something she really enjoys. Being different makes her stand out in a good way. Clarke was very happy. She had her amazing best friend Raven Reyes and her wonderful boyfriend Finn. Then a new person joins their little group.
