Predators are not always violent things. Sometimes they are patient. Sometimes they look at their prey for so long that hunger begins to soften into curiosity, then into something warmer, something dangerous enough to make tearing their prey apart feel almost disappointing.
Raised to hunt monsters, it should have been easy to remember the difference between teeth and tenderness. But somewhere between silver blades, lingering stares, and the slow ache of being wanted too much, the line between hunter and hunted begins to blur.
And maybe that is the real tragedy of it all, not being chased by something monstrous, but realizing, far too late, that part of you wants to be caught.
smut and +18 content.
