Lexi Callaghan is broken. From a traumatic childhood that still haunts her, to her slowly deteriorating mental health, things are pretty bleak. The only source of light in her otherwise dark universe is her best friend and soulmate, Jasper Reynolds, who is constantly striving to make her smile and see her self-worth. The problem is that Jasper is moving to a different continent at the end of August, leaving Lexi on her own to fend for herself in a world where everything feels like it's collapsing inward. ▶▷▶A long, honest one month journey about friendship and finding solace from your inner demons. There are fun, lighthearted moments; there are emotional, heartbreaking moments; and there are moments in-between. Just like how real life works. ◀◁◀ ❝As I stare up at the creaky old Ferris wheel cycling around and around, I think about how everything that spins does so on an axis. And really, I guess that's the best way to describe what Jasper is for me: he's the axis that keeps me from spiraling out of control. But what'll happen when August runs out of days and I lose the only person who keeps me rotating in this life that I've been given?❞

❝I see you in every city light I pass through every night. But baby, you were never my destination. I was only meant to admire you from afar, to watch you in admiration as you brighten up the darkness and hoping that one day, I'd be able to watch you brighten up my room as you cling to the walls I've built up and your light would only focus on me. But, sadly, you are also like the sun. You would always seek any dark place you could ever reach out. And how, I wish that I was the moon, so I would be worthy of your sacrifices because I keep falling in love with you harder every night you die just so that the stars could live and your beloved moon would breathe.❞ ~*~ In which Charlie, the girl with a fragile heart and auburn hair embarks on a journey of writing to her beloved ones as she tries healing the burn he had caused before it turns into a scar and all will be too late

He thought she would never hear the messages he left for her. He was wrong. She heard every one and these are her words to him. Her messages he will never hear. [This is based on the original story by @argentile called Voice Mail. It's an amazing story that inspired me to write Gwen's POV of the same story. I HIGHLY recommend you all check it out!]
