It is the spring of 1983, a year after the tragic shooting that changed the lives of Stef, Lena, Mike, and Bird. In this heartwarming sequel, we follow all four characters who try to move on and overcome that horrible night. Bird will face challenges when she returns to school, and Stef will struggle to find a career. Mike will question his reasoning for remaining a cop and Lena searches for love and meaning.
