He's still in a coma, leaving everyone in his family wondering what might have happened to him. Jesper is going out of his mind without him and the situation makes everyone rethink everything. Being the new Chief of surgery isn't really a happy thing for Jesper, since the only reason he's doing the job is because his husband is in a coma. Besides clearly being overworked, he also finds time to bond with Malcolm, making Jisoo want to spend less time with the both of them. Meanwhile Jisoo is in a new relationship with a guy that basically stole her job, and she's trying to forget about any feelings she ever had for Malcolm, while he and Jesper try to figure out whether to unplug Yohan or find a way to wake him up. Jesper believes that there's a way to save him. Others? Not so much.

Jesper has been in love with Yohan ever since they were kids, and when the latter kissed him out of the blue in high school, things between them drastically changed. Yohan proposed him a pact, in which they started seeing each other in secret, while he was in a relationship with some other girl at the same time. In the fear of being mistreated in the future, Yohan decided to end their friendship and break their pact, which resulted in them going to different colleges. Years later they're both successful surgeons, just like they planned in high school, but something is missing in both of their lives. They may be high-class surgeons, but they're far from happy. A sudden family problem crosses their paths again and they realize that what they had in high school never went away. There's just one problem - Yohan. He has a family now and his family doesn't even know that he used to date a boy. Or do they?
