Precious Ties:The Gift, is the sequel to Gilmore Girls: Precious Ties which followed on from A Year In the Life. It picks up the story from the birth of Rory and Logan's child in Sydney, Australia and the new life that follows for them as a family. Heading up Huntzberger Media after Mitchum's health crisis is a challenge but Logan has vowed to put his family first. Will their new found faith help them through the trials that come as they reluctantly move back home?

This story picks up six years after A Year In The Life ended. Rory and Logan's son is five and starting kindergarten.
