The MWS begin locking up any race that had power. Magicians, dungeon capturers' djinn, household users, magi, and even the Fanalis and Imuchakk. Once they were finished, they united the world, making it all one country, and genetically mutated humans to be sure no magicians were born... Despite all this, one magi survived. Neah, a twenty four year old still in her senior year of high school, with an arrogant personality. She's also the only fallen member of society, another thing MWS tried to fix, but couldn't with her.
