It was a cool and silent night in the forest. The full moon illuminated the forest and silver clouds glided across the sky. What had brought Emil Steilsson into the forest that night was unknown, but little did he know that what would happen that night would change his life forever. The summer of 1923 was a time of unrest for the underground gangs of New York City. Tensions were rising to an unstable peak between the Wang Mafia family, and the Bondevik Mafia family. When the two eldest children of the mafia bosses meet, and in an instant a dangerous relationship is formed, resulting in disastrous consequences.

Emil was struggling to keep himself together. He'd lost almost everything and only had his older brother, Lukas, left. What's worse is that he blames himself for everything that has happened. At the moment, everything seems pretty bleak for Emil; no friends, only a third of his family remaining, tendencies to wish he had never existed. Which is everything a sixteen year old boy needs in his life. But everything changed the instant a new student called Leon stepped into the classroom. An unmissable story of hope, healing and the unexpected spark of young love. {Slight warning about triggers for depression and suicide as they are mentioned in the first few chapters but not acted upon. A HongIce angst fic for my friend. When Emil is caught in a car accident and gets taken to hospital he never expects to meet anyone quite like Leon.

An elf awakens on the shores of Cuiviénen and discovers she is not alone. Thrust into a tribe and discovering her mate too early, she struggles to find herself as her people unite in their struggles against Morgoth. When Oromë comes, will they follow? ---- Middle Earth belongs to J.R.R. Tolkien, as do most all of the named characters aside from Tindómiel and Lómion. I just love the world and want to fill in some narrative gaps in the First Age.
