Lily is finally leaving her small, uncharted hometown for her dream college in London. she is delighted and surprised to find that the new flat she is going to share with three roommates is right next to where Dan and Phil lives. Dan and Lily develop a strong friendship that blossoms into something more.

On a vacation to the small town of Titusville, Pennsylvania, something devastating happens to Dan, and he can't remember anything about Phil or his YouTube career. A teenage volunteer (and phan) at the hospital, Heidi, promises Phil she will help Dan get his memories back, but something happens that might make her want to change her mind about keeping that promise.
