One year ago, this story began. Or rather, ended. Everything I'd known for years self destructed and left behind a tragic mess I'd never seen before. Adaptation was iffy, loneliness was temporary, silence was unbearable. This isn't the first 12 years of my life. This isn't the moments that led up to 2016. This is my story. This is what really happened. This is what I am and why.

While the damage to our friendship was increasingly difficult to manage, I had forgotten the bridge, or the rope, that had brought us together in the first place. Without our empowering bond that holds the magic together, God only knows what'll happen to the spirits, the power and the kingdom our imaginations have created. Our minds are what power it, but when we stop believing in ourselves, each other and the magic, what'll happen to us and everything we've created? Is it too late to save it all?
