An existence of darkeness. So long, that I don't even remember what the leight was. I creep and crawled, was the nightmare that humans dreaded in the recesses of their minds. I walked in darkeness and survived off the misery I created and consumed. And then I saw a spark. A moment of leight, within an existence of darke. That spark came from a smile. The smile of the innocence. I was meant to consume you, to devour your leight and make you suffer for an eternity, I'd done it to so many times already. Instead, you blinded me with that spark. You gave me a touch of humanity that I'd never known. And I followed you home.

Normal life if for the mundane. You don't learn this, until you lose it. Darkeness can descend quickly in a storybook world, and even quicker in the real one. Darkeness comes on in the time of disease. As the flu sweeps nations, changes begin in the population. People change and life changes. Everything that people consider given, written in stone, is thrown upon its end. And the fight for survival begins... Zombies walk the earth, only they have no need to infect you, only to eat you. They are the top of the food chain. And in order to survive, you have to outhink the undead and create another breed of humanity, a millenia in the making. No fear. Or they will find you.

How can I explain what has happened? How a lifetime of pain and disability was far more sinister and darke than even I could have imagined? I am only now discovering the truth, and I will share it with you, page by page from my journal. Do you have the courage to uncover the truth? Will you make it to the end with me? Lets see...
