Tyler Joseph is a prick. He's one of the most popular guys at Westchester Rock High School. He's the head captain of the basketball team, annoyingly intelligent, and looks down on everyone around him. Most importantly, he practically thrives off his reputation. Josh Dun is an asshole. He's not exactly popular, but he is well known around the school. He spends his time spray-painting vulgar images in the school bathroom, hooking up in janitors' closets, and smoking weed after school. Both of them were dickheads, but in their own ways and for their own reasons. Therefore, Tyler and Josh had always been enemies, but when Tyler exposed one of Josh's biggest secrets to the entire school, ruining Josh's reputation, Josh's hatred for the boy had only skyrocketed. As a result, it soon became his mission to tear down Tyler's 'oh-so-perfect' reputation with him in any way he possibly could. However, this mission soon becomes complicated in more ways than one.
