It's 5th year and Remus Lupin is beginning to fall in love with his best friend. His best friend, Sirius Black during an era when sexuality was presented as standard straight, and the hushed tones of possibly gay. The main problem is, Remus doesn't feel like either of those.

Sirius wore pronouns like one might wear a coat. Easily slipped on. Easily slipped off. Traded in when it stopped fitting or serving its purpose. . Genderfluid!Sirius and the time and trials of figuring out who they are. Wolfstar and Jily later on.

Sirius and Remus are painfully oblivious to the love they have for each other, both are struggling with other things too.

Wolfstar It's the summer after fifth year and James receives a knock on his door. He opens it to Sirius in a state that he had never seen his friend, there were tears running down his face he had bruises all over him and he was bleeding from the nose. He looks up and said "They found out"
