Lance goes out on a hunt with his unit and a few others from the Garrison, hot on the tail of a wolf walker. But a storm rolls in, Lance is separated from his unit, lost in the woods of the wolf walkers, alone and scared. What happens when Lance receives help from the monster he's supposed to hate, hunt, kill? And what happens when the monster turns out to be a cute boy with mesmerizing violet eyes? Lance's world gets turned upside down when he learns the Garrison has been lying to everyone, but what can one boy from a small town village do against the entire government?
