But somebody has held a grudge against the Vale's, and soon Hadrian finds that his wife is being victimized for it. Can he protect the woman that he promised to cherish, in sickness and health? A younger sister cannot wed before an older sister. It's a law of their society, a rule vehemently obeyed by prominent families in the nobility, and it's always been Ella Harrington's buffer. Ella has never been interested in marrying for anything short of love itself. Unfortunately for her, love is a rarity in the marriages of the aristocracy. Fortunately for her, her sister Emily is precisely one year older than her and is the most unpleasant, disagreeable, sulking woman to ever debut in all of England. So Ella may never have to marry at all. A free woman, she enjoys her time on the sidelines and wishes for nothing more. That is, until a tall, dark, and brooding Duke comes to town alongside an old friend of her brother's. Suddenly, Ella finds herself questioning the antiquated marriage order rule as her buffer begins to feel more like a barrier. Not that it matters. The Duke isn't interested in her anyway. Right?

The words graceful, proper, ladylike and elegant could never be used to describe Perrie Beresford, the eldest daughter of the Duke and Duchess of Ashwood. Perrie has always had a little too much fire in her to ever be classified as a beautiful young debutante, which is what she will inevitably become in her first Season. But romance, courting, and marriage are the last things on Perrie's mind. Especially when her nemesis, who was once an annoying classmate, suddenly appears in her home as her father's protégé. As Perrie is pushed towards the life of an adult by those around her, she can't help but be pulled into a game of wars within the walls of her very home. But Perrie is about to learn that the line between love and hate are very fine ... and perhaps might not even exist at all.

This story takes place in England, 1760, some years before lady Georgia sadly married Lord Walter Pearson at the young age of sixteen. Four years later, Lord Pearson tragically lost his life in a duel to his former lover's husband. Now, widowed from a marriage that was far from love lady Georgia was only grateful for having her only daughter, Luella. Thankfully, Georgia's Aunt, Lady Willoughby saves her just in time summoning them both to her country seat. After, three long years of mourning all the while avoiding further scandal, she couldn't help the day when she noticed His Grace, the Duke of Richmond. He has seemed to be assuming residence in his country seat in the large vast lands which happened to lie just adjacent to the Willoughby's. The Duke of Richmond never bothered to visit his country seat which was his vast reality of the wife and children that he didn't have to accompany him. He had closed that part off from himself after being scarred and burned long ago... So when it just so happens that he notices a woman he's quite never seen before, and her sweet little angle daughter seemingly residing on the lands that have always been adjacent to his country seat estate, which he never bothered to reside in, he couldn't help but feel something pulling at his heart. . . All along it was the key to unlock it. Rated: Mature🔥 {#1 in COURTSHIP} {#1 REGENCY-ERA} {#1 REGENCY}

Edmund Westworth (26), the third Earl of Beaumont, and the most eligible bachelor in London, unknowingly started a tradition he now regrets. At age twenty-two he danced the first dance at the season opening ball at Almack's with a young lady who became the toast of the season. The next year he did the same. Every year since, he has danced one dance, to fulfill his mother's requirement. And every year his dance partner becomes the most sought after girl of the season. Some think he has a gift, Edmund thinks he could pick any girl and 'the ton' would deem her desirable based on his dance alone. His friends disagree and bet him 100£ to choose a dance partner who couldn't possibly entice the gentlemen of London. When her father suddenly passes away, Elizabeth Cavendish (20) has to move in with her aunt's family. With the estate entailed, Elizabeth needs to find a husband quickly or her aunt will install her into a governess or lady's companion position, which would severely hinder Beth's ability to work on her scientific experiments. Garbed in her cousin's horrific dresses from last season, she only has a few weeks to find a husband before she is doomed to tedious work for the rest of her life. She finds an unlikely accomplice in the Earl of Beaumont. Please don't copy any part of my story in any form (including Youtube) without my permission. At three and twenty, Lady Susanna Beresford is at dire risk of being considered an old maid, though she is determined that nothing but the deepest love will incline her to marry, a fact that deeply vexes her mother. As the season closes in 1810 and Susanna prepares to return home to Hertfordshire unattached, she meets the very man who will indeed change her life forever. A man whom high society would deem inappropriate and forbidden based on the very colour of his skin. But there is more to this man than meets the eye, and their meeting sets in motion a series of events that will undoubtably change society as they know it forever.

*COMPLETED* Annalise(Ann) had a simple life. A loving family, and a roof over her head. But when that is taken away, when the king and his men destroy her village and take her life away. She is thrown into a life of servitude to the king. But What happens when the king develops a deep desire for her? Will she fall in love with the merciless King? 𝑬𝒙𝒄𝒆𝒓𝒑𝒕: I hear the king get up from his seat and start walking over to me. I see his shoes come into my line of vision. My senses are clouded by his strong scent of cedarwood. I refuse to look up at him. He gives off an aura that is dark and intimidating. My eyes begin to swell with tears at the thought that I will end up like the man before me. "Look at me," he commands in a deep voice. I refuse. He commands again this time more cynical, "Look. at. me!" His voice booms off the walls, echoing in the room. I flinch at the tone but still refuse. Then suddenly, he roughly raised my chin. My eyes meet his cold blue ones. His eyes seem to soften for a moment then quickly return to their cold state. He muttered something under his breath that I didn't catch. He lets go of my chin and walks around, scanning me with his eyes. "What am I to do with you?" He mutters to himself. After a few moments, he is back in front of me. He smirks, "I will make you my personal chambermaid." CONTINUE THE STORY INSIDE...
