This is the story of Emily Bien-aimé Baudouin. Born 1757 to Prince Louis XV and his wife Marie, Emily lives a very unfortunate life. She is literally scarred as a child by smoldering candle wax, her mother dies of smallpox, her father is killed on the night her beloved Edward plans to propose.
