Elliot has despised 007n7 ever since he hacked and terrorized his workplace and never allowed himself to forget about it. A few years down the lane they met again in a living nightmare, Forsaken. Despite the fact 007n7 has turned over a new leaf and left his hacker days behind, the pizza delivery guy still gives him the cold shoulder for the things he had done in the past. The ex-hacker tries his best to prove Elliot that he has a change of heart and to gain his forgiveness. Many things can really happen in Forsaken of all places, especially the unexpected. Someone has paid a good amount of money to G.U.N. to find the identity of Maurice the Hedgehog, Queen Aleenas son, who's always kept his identity a secret. Maurice is known for having a kind heart and always helping the kingdom, always keeping his mask on, afraid to reveal his identity. The commander decides to assign Shadow and hires Sonic to work together and get closer to Maurice and his family. Sonic must hide his true identity from Shadow and find out who paid G.U.N.

Sonic and his friends have reached the labyrinth zone to confront Eggman and his evil doing. While doing so the most inconvenient thing had happened to Sonic, leading his friends to leave him behind. After the incident however, no one has heard anything from team Sonic making Shadow investigate the situation before Eggman gets the hint and attacks the mobians. (not my art)

Shadow has always hated Sonic's guts. His stupid face, stupid smile, stupid voice, stupid everything! He's always been nothing but a pain. How could he be so carefree and relaxed all the time when it feels as if all of Mobius relies on him? Shadow struggles to find peace as he has constant nightmares and thoughts of his past. He lost his only purpose, Why was he even here? Why did he have to be created if all he's ever brought is pain and suffering to those he loves? Things start to change after his friends force him to stop fighting with Sonic for the good of the team. Shadow and Sonic are as different as can be...but is that really so bad?

When Sonic meets with Shadow again, Shadow finds out the hero isn't how he used to be. What happened to him? Or to word it better, WHO happened to him?
