The saints are the gods of Multahv district. They run Highrise college and the much coveted inner sect; The college Cabal. There are three colleges in Multahv district and each year, the elite of each college get a shot at competing for a spot on the Cabal. The ball is only the beginning. Kaisa is far from what would be considered elite in Silver college. In fact she's beneath bottom of the barrel. A scholarship student who doesn't belong in the school and everyone makes sure to remind her of her place.
