This is Jason Todd's story. After his torture at the hands of the Joker. After working with Black Mask. After the rest of the family found out he wasn't dead. This is the story of how Jason Todd broke and how his family was there to put him back together. This is an AU. It's not canon compliant. Obviously parts of Jason's story match up with different comics or movies he's been in but I'm not trying to make it match with any particular version of him. Trigger warnings: this story deals with both past torture and past rape. There will probably be graphic descriptions of both. As well as suicide. Please don't read this if it will trigger you. (Currently working on finishing this story in the very near future) Redhood, Jason Todd, has been missing for a period of 6 months. Barbra Gordon refuses to give up, despite the cold trail and the waining hopes from the Batfamily. Nightwing, Dick Grayson, has moved to Blüdhaven and taken up a mysterious case stemming from bodies washing on the bay. His work as a Detective both on and off the force will bring about new insights to the criminal plaguing both of his cities. Tim Drake and Batman have Gotham covered and life seems to be returning to normal until Barbra is kidnapped by a mysterious figure. Disclaimer: I do not own any of theses characters. Just felt like doing it

So I made this for me because I had this idea at 2:00 am and i had to get it out before i forgot it, not really to judge if its like, worthy of votes, BUT here's a description:UPDATE THIS WAS REALLY BAD SO I'M PROBABLY NOT FINISHING IT Damian always has a poker face and when something goes wrong on a mission he refuses to let anyone know he's injured. When he's been found out he's forced to rely on the others for a week. His brother's and father start to see cracks in his everlasting facade and realize there might be more to him than anger, they just want him to be more open with them. Even when he gets better after the week they keep a lookout to see if there really is indifference or something more behind his mask. Suddenly Damian is aware of their prying eyes and they're no longer sure what's true feelings and what's faked emotions. Damian's survival rule book has zero exceptions though they try to assure him of his safety. but no matter their reassurances--- Damian must keep his guard up, Damian must shut his feelings in, Damian must... show no weakness. The only one who even seems to understand why Damian is doing this is... Todd. *Damian- early 10 he got here at 9 *Tim Drake- mid 16 *Jason Todd- mid 22 *Dick Grayson way early 26 *Bruce Wayne mid 41 (don't over think it) *Alfred- basically immortal p.s. the more angsty stuff will happen in the end when i'm comfortable writing the characters and able to do them realistic justice. So it'll get pretty dark in the end but i don't like unsatisfying unresolved feeling endings so don't worry... why can't I put this much effort in my homework?

Throughout this story bonds are tested and injustices brought to light as Tim and others attempt to right a few wrongs, and bring the wayward Robin home.
