He's a ruthless mafia boss who spends his days killing and working while ignoring his surroundings. Light changed his mind. His eyes are opened. he wants to stop. But Ryuk thinks otherwise and takes a step.

I'm thinking about writing fluff AND smut too but I want to keep their character as much as possible so thats why I'm thinking of taking things a tiny bit slow. The detective gasped and placed a protective hand around his slice of strawberry cheesecake. "Don't you ever offend cake again!" "Fine then. No more kisses unless you eat anything other than cake." In defiance, L dipped his teaspoon back into his plate. "Do you really believe that I'm some sort of child? You can't possibly think that I'd fall for such futile tactics," he said, pretending that Light's threats had been ineffective. However, Light wasn't easily fooled. Raising an eyebrow, he shrugged, "Ok, then." L's dark eyes widened in bottomless pools. *Cover is not mine, please message me for credit*

Light was seven when he ran away from home. He was seven when he found a panda looking child. Light was seven when he was finally accepted for who he was. L was nine when he became the world's greatest detective. L was ten when he found a brown-haired child covered in dirt. L was ten when he made his first friend. AU: Light runs away from home and is found by L. This follows Light and L growing up together and then the Merikh Case (which follows the timeline of the Kira Case just a different name). Light uses the name of Kira when he is at Wammy's House so hence the rename.

The feelings between L and Light are confusing. Is It love or hate? After getting handcuffed Light starts to feel something towards L.
