"You'll learn to love the way I destroy you." ~~~~ "Stop squirming." "You're too big!" I cried, shifting. His length drilled into me, pressing in all the right place. "You say that like it's a bad thing," he responded in amusement. I glared up at him. "You're going to tear me apart!" "Oh, baby girl..." he learned forward, "that's been my plan all along. "Now sit still while I ruin you." ~~~~ I thought this place was haunted... the house I moved into. The rickety walls, the broken floors, the dusty air. I managed to clean it, but... But then there's a man in the mirror. I walk down the hall, and he's there, haunting me, watching me, playing with me. A ghost. This house was haunted. But little did I know... that he wasn't a ghost at all. No, he was very real. THEY were very real. And their plan to corrupt me had been set in place the moment I set foot in this house.

New to the small southern town, brown-skinned Evalyn Brown answers an ad for domestic help. Enter her new employer, the disagreeable and decidedly white William Davis, who works for the town's police department. As time progresses, their relationship to each other, their small town, and the people who inhabit it changes. In the mid-1900s in a place so easily described as backwards, change can very rapidly become a dangerous friend. x He said nothing but continued to approach, and I started backing up, my hands in front of me to create space. He advanced until I had nowhere to go, and the stories of southern Negro women being lynched, beaten, raped, and on swirled in my mind. There were some battles to fight, and this was not one of them. I just wanted to appease whatever angry beast I had stirred within him and go back to my role as his quiet housekeeper. "William, I - ." Idiot! His whispered name slipped from my mouth before I could stop it. Today was the worst possible day to mistakenly call him by his first name. I closed my eyes as tears escaped out their corners. I didn't want to watch whatever was going to happen next. "Look. At. Me." His words were a constrictor that wound around my neck and tightened. His heady, hot breath fanned over my face. I opened my eyes and peered through my tear-blurred vision. His orbs were almost black as onyx, but tumultuous and frightening. He studied me and my pulse thudded deafeningly in my ears. "I want you to stop." His voice was low and threatening.

"The things I did to stay sane without you" He groaned. I looked up as I felt the hotness on my face and the tingle in my body. I'd missed him a lot and I wasn't used to him anymore, so I was a bit shy. "Day and night I kissed your pics." he buried his face between my breasts, over my shirt and breathed in, his voice trembling and whiny, "Missed your sweet scent." He mumbled through the kisses. He pulled away and held my face with his palms. He touched his forehead to mine and closed his eyes. "Please. I beg of you. Please, wait for me. Don't forget me. Don't move on. I won't be able to handle it." He whispered, his voice cracking at the end as he stared at me with an agonizing look. MATURE AUDIENCE 18+ I AM STILL EDITING OLDER CHAPTERS.

"Enough!" he shouted. "No more words." "Yes... I killed your father. I did." "Stop screaming!"he barked. He grabbed her jaw, forcing her to look at him. "Now... it's time to get married. Let's go. The priest is waiting. We don't want to make him wait, do we... hmm?" She spat on his face. He just smirked. Licked the spit from his lips, rolling his tongue. "Mmm... tasty," he said, voice low. "You should've kissed me directly. No worries... we'll do it after our wedding." He leaned closer. "Do you want to see his dead body... hmm? One last look at your father?" She whispered, trembling, "Please... let me go." " You don't want to? Okay... let me throw his body away then." "No! I... I want to see him, please. He is my father !" "Good girl," he said, smirk still dark. "Now... come on. The priest is waiting." 𝘚𝘩𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘰𝘶𝘨𝘩𝘵 𝘨𝘰𝘭𝘥 𝘮𝘦𝘢𝘯𝘵 𝘧𝘳𝘦𝘦𝘥𝘰𝘮. 𝘉𝘶𝘵 𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘨𝘪𝘭𝘥𝘦𝘥 𝘤𝘢𝘨𝘦 𝘸𝘢𝘴 𝘫𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘢𝘯𝘰𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳 𝘬𝘪𝘯𝘥 𝘰𝘧 𝘱𝘳𝘪𝘴𝘰𝘯. 𝘏𝘦'𝘴 𝘳𝘶𝘵𝘩𝘭𝘦𝘴𝘴. 𝘗𝘰𝘴𝘴𝘦𝘴𝘴𝘪𝘷𝘦. "I'm not a man of many words... солнышко," he said softly, the Russian endearment curling off his tongue like smoke-sweet, but choking. "Come closer." She hesitated, her body trembling, tears spilling soundlessly down her cheeks. He watched her, the way fear made her small, fragile-beautiful in a broken way. She rose, slow as a confession, and walked to him because something in his smile promised shelter and tasted like a lie. He leaned in, close enough to feel his breath, and I saw the patient cruelty behind his eyes. "Now," he murmured, his voice turning colder, heavier, "tell me... what did you do to make me want to cut your leg?" The room went still, except for her quiet gasps. He tilted his head, studying her face as if searching for the moment she would break. ............................................................... Linda finally gets her big break - a visa sponsorship job at the Lincoln Foundation. She's placed with the Adams family, a kind couple who welcome her with open arms and treat her like the daughter they never had. Their home is beautiful, their hearts warm, and for the first time, Linda feels a sense of belonging. But everything changes the night of a business party hosted by Mr. Adams. There, she meets Arseny - and from that moment, her dream life slowly turns into a haunting nightmare.
